{I’m going to interject a recent Winnipeg maternity session here before finishing up my last couple of Thompson family sessions; I want to make sure I have it blogged before the baby is born! -J.}
I met Megan and Christian at Winnipeg’s beautiful Assiniboine Park on a warm June evening. Christian and Megan are expecting their first baby in a few weeks and asked me to capture some images of this very special time in their lives.
Megan had just passed the 34 week mark when these were taken and was absolutely radiant! The combination of beautiful spring blooms, gorgeous light and excited parents-to-be made for some wonderful photographs.
I’ll keep the commentary to a minimum and let the images speak for themselves!

To add to the excitement and busyness of their lives, Megan and Christian just bought a new house! Since they are going to be dealing with moving boxes for the next little while, I prepared a lovely mini-album with their favourite images. This way they have a way to enjoy their photos until it’s time to decorate their new home with some wall art. Mini-albums are a wonderful way to keep your favourite images close at hand, even if you aren’t in the middle of a big move.
Megan and Christian, it was great to work with you and I’m looking forward to meeting your new little one when he or she arrives!
