When I was in Thompson at the end of April, I met up with Stevie and Chris for an engagement session. One of the things I love (and miss) about Thompson is the light; there’s something so crisp and pure about it that makes photographing there wonderful.
Stevie and Chris have two beautiful twin daughters who joined us at the start of the session for a few family photos. I love how everything came together for this shot… see what I mean about the light!?! That’s not a trendy Photoshop® action being used, that’s 100% Mother Nature at her finest. :)

After working with the whole family for a little while, I ventured off with just Stevie and Chris for some couples photos. You’d never know that just before we arrived the grassy area behind us (just outside of the frame) had been engulfed in flames!
We stepped onto the Millennium Trail to take a few photos between the trees. I love the tension created *just* before a kiss happens!
So beautiful! Needless to say I’m looking forward to returning to Thompson in August to photograph their wedding!
Speaking of Thompson, I’ll be back again this weekend to photograph some more lovely couples and families, so if you think you see me wandering around town, you’re probably right!
