Wow, it’s been wayyy too long! I kind of feel like I fell off the face of the earth for awhile, and in some ways I did, for I’ve been sick in bed (literally) for over a week. I haven’t been that sick in years but fortunately it was temporary (all signs point to food poisoning, albeit a very bad case of it) and I seem to be on the mend.
While I was tossing and turning in bed over the past week and a half, trying to think of anything but why I was stuck there, one bright spot I held onto was knowing that I’d soon be able to post these lovely images of Angie and Glen! Angie is a friend and co-worker, and after flying together over the past year she has become one of my favorite people, with her sharp wit and “just tell it like it is” personality (in case it’s not clear, that’s a compliment!) Her husband, Glen, is a great compliment to her; he is also delightfully witty and very entertaining to be around.
Angie and Glen are expecting their first child in just a few weeks so we headed to a nearby park here in Winnipeg for a quick maternity session. I think I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking…
Congratulations once again! I’m looking forward to meeting (and photographing, of course!) the little one when he or she arrives!
I’ve got a LOT of work to catch up on this week, but I’m sure I’ll be back again soon (blogging provides a nice break from all the other “stuff”)
