In an effort to do some more real-time blogging (that is, blogging about sessions that have happened in the previous seven days) I’m going to share an engagement session I shot last Monday for Ken and Shavon. This lovely couple live in Norway House, Manitoba and I’m excited to be traveling there for their wedding in July! I would venture a guess that most of my readers have never been to Norway House before, but it is a beautiful part of the world, especially in the summer… they are going to end up with some amazing wedding photos!

Like many Northern Manitoba residents, planning a wedding means a few trips to Winnipeg to make various arrangements, so we decided to do their engagement session while they were here on a recent trip. The omnipresent fog that has shrouded Southern Manitoba for what seems like an eternity was in full force, and that made for some beautiful light, even at mid-day.

May I mention that Ken is a keen photographer (not to mention a fellow Nikon shooter)? Shavon, you have great taste!![]()

The next time we meet the snow will be gone and summer will be going strong on the 53rd Parallel. Good luck with the rest of the planning you two- I’m looking forward to seeing you again in a few months!
Have a great week everyone,
Janet
