A few weeks ago, I met Tristan and his parents, Amy and Paul, for a photo session in Assiniboine Park. Tristan recently turned two so the park was the perfect setting for their session, with lots of space to run and explore. There was beautiful golden light and thanks to a barely-there breeze, the pond by the Leo Mol Sculpture garden was as smooth as glass.
Tristan had fun splashing his hands in the fountain and it was hard to pry him away from it. Fortunately no one got wet in the process!
I love this age… at two, a child’s burgeoning independence is SO present, but at the same time Mum and Dad are still very much wanted and needed for security and comfort. :)
