Brad & Jessica’s A-Maze-ing Winnipeg engagement session

In mid-October Jessica, Brad and I headed a short drive south of Winnipeg to St. Adolphe, Manitoba to visit “A Maze in Corn” – yes, the pun is intended! What a fun location for a photo session! With the amazing (okay, I’ll stop now) and beautiful stalks of corn, the gigantic hay bale pyramid, petting zoo and haunted forest there was no shortage of places to go (well, we did forego the haunted forest, because getting the crap scared out of you doesn’t make for the best photos, and photography isn’t allowed in that part anyway.) :)

Matt & Lauren’s Winnipeg wedding at St. Luke’s Anglican church

After their fun engagement session at the Red River Ex earlier this year, I was really looking forward to Matt and Lauren’s wedding. I had a feeling that it was going to be a great day before it even began, and after the first few frames my suspicions were confirmed. Lauren and Matt only had eyes for each other as Lauren’s parents walked her down the aisle at St. Luke’s Anglican church in Winnipeg. The day concluded at the lovely St. Charles Country Club, where guests enjoyed a fantastic dinner, heartfelt speeches and dancing into the night!

Troy & Shanleigh’s autumn engagement session in Assiniboine Park

Shanleigh and Troy are one of my 2011 couples from Thompson, Manitoba. They were recently in Winnipeg for the weekend, so we headed to Assiniboine Park to photograph their engagement session. The park has special meaning to these two; Troy proposed to Shanleigh there earlier this year, just as they were about to start running a marathon! Talk about a memorable proposal!
