When we first decided on the Red River Exhibition as an engagement session venue, I thought we should probably hedge our bets and do some additional photos in another location. We went to a fairly hidden corner of Winnipeg’s Assiniboine Park just as the sun was starting to set for this portion of the session.
From the very beginning I knew that a super fun and outgoing couple like Matt and Lauren would need a super fun and outgoing engagement session to match. We headed to Winnipeg’s annual Red River Exhibition for their engagement session a few weeks ago, and had a lot of fun enjoying all the fair had to offer.
A few weeks ago, I met Tristan and his parents, Amy and Paul, for a photo session in Winnipeg’s Assiniboine Park. Tristan recently turned two so the park was the perfect setting for their session, with lots of space to run and explore. There was beautiful golden light and thanks to a barely-there breeze, the pond by the Leo Mol Sculpture garden was as smooth as glass.
