I met Shelby and her parents for a photo session in Thompson, Manitoba, just a few days after she turned the Big One! This little cutie pie was all smiles for me. The gloomy skies earlier in the day were replaced with some warm sunshine so I was able to take most of her one-year portraits outdoors.
Today’s post features the lovely Miss Makenna. This two year old from Thompson, Manitoba was full of life for her turn in front of the camera. I love photographing this age because the kids are so unpredictable and you just never know what they’ll do next. Sometimes a back turned to the camera tells much more of a story than a big grin!
I met Megan and Christian at Winnipeg’s beautiful Assiniboine Park on a warm June evening. Christian and Megan are expecting their first baby in a few weeks and asked me to capture some maternity images for them.

Siobhan and Dom met me on a windy May evening for their engagement session in Thompson, Manitoba. The storm clouds threatened to rain us out, but fortunately the storm held off long enough for me to take these lovely photos! This couple has great chemistry, and were almost instantly at ease in front of the camera, which made for a wonderful session all around.
