The recent snowfall in Winnipeg, Manitoba has prompted a lot of people to seek out winter family photography – or at least that’s what all my website statistics are telling me! I thought I would take a break from finalizing some of last week’s work to post a few recent, wintery favourites, featuring – you guessed it- families in the snow!
While I live in Winnipeg, I frequently travel to Thompson, Manitoba, which is where all of these photos were taken. Thompson usually gets a head start on the snow compared to Winnipeg (which was one of the things that I loved about living there – I must confess that I LOVE the snow!) This year however, the snow arrived to Thompson quite late but that just meant that I had very fresh, unspoiled snow to work with, not to mention fairly mild temperatures!
